1. Establishment and Disclosure of the Privacy Policy

“VoiceOn” is an audio drama platform operated by Sodalive Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”). The Company establishes and discloses this Privacy Policy in accordance with relevant laws such as the Personal Information Protection Act and the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, in order to protect users’ personal information and to define the rights and obligations between the Company and users regarding personal data.

2. Personal Information Collected

VoiceOn is an anonymous platform that uses email as a unique ID without requiring separate identity verification.

Depending on the situation, the Company collects the following personal information as required or optional items:

(1) Membership Registration

  • When registering with an email account:

    • Required items: Email address, password, nickname

(2) Identity Verification

  • When accessing adult content (19+), the following information is collected to verify age:

    • Collected items: Name, gender, date of birth, registered phone number

(3) Paid Services

  • When using paid services (e.g., paid live, content purchases, subscriptions requiring in-app currency “can”):

    • Payment-related information may be collected through third-party providers depending on the payment method.

    • Collected items: Name, card number, bank account details, etc.

    • The Company does not store this information.

(4) User Information

  • During service use, the following may be collected:

    • Usage records, device information (app version, OS version), ADID/IDFA (advertising identifiers)

 

3. Use of Collected Personal Information

The Company uses personal information only for the following purposes:

  • Membership management (verification of intent to join, user identification, account deletion confirmation)

  • Payment processing, customer support, handling inquiries, delivering notices, and resolving complaints

  • Contract execution, service provision, billing, content usage, profile display, and payment information notifications

  • Prevention of misuse, fraud detection, restriction of violating users, account security, dispute resolution, and legal compliance

  • Service analytics, usage statistics, personalized services, and advertising

  • Marketing and promotional purposes (only for event participants; collected data may vary by event)

  • Ensuring a secure and safe service environment

 

4. Provision of Personal Information

VoiceOn is an anonymous platform that collects minimal personal data (email, password, nickname), limiting user identification.

The Company does not provide personal information to third parties without prior consent, except in the following cases:

  • When required by law

  • When necessary to protect life or safety

Examples of legal disclosures include:

  • Seizure and search under the Criminal Procedure Act

  • Communication confirmation data under the Protection of Communications Secrets Act

  • Telecommunications data under the Telecommunications Business Act

  • Tax-related submissions to authorities (e.g., National Tax Service)

  • Requests from election authorities under applicable laws

 

5. Outsourcing of Personal Information Processing

The Company may outsource certain tasks to external parties to provide better services.

  • Psychological counseling services may be entrusted to “Suda Friends” (experts or content creators)

  • Other service-related tasks may also be outsourced

  • The Company supervises all outsourced parties to ensure compliance with data protection laws

 

6. Retention and Destruction of Personal Information

  • Personal information is retained during service use and deleted immediately upon account termination

  • Exceptions apply if:

    • The user consents to extended storage

    • Legal obligations require retention

Retention periods include:

  • Fraudulent usage records: 6 months

  • Fraud/illegal transaction records: 3 years

  • Under applicable laws:

    • Contract/withdrawal records: 5 years

    • Payment and supply records: 5 years

    • Complaint/dispute records: 3 years

    • Advertising records: 6 months

    • Electronic financial transaction records: 5 years

    • Login records: 3 months

After the retention period, data is securely destroyed:

  • Electronic files: permanently deleted

  • Physical documents: shredded or incinerated

 

7. User Rights

Users may at any time:

  • Access, modify, or delete their personal information via the app

  • Request actions via email or written form

Additional notes:

  • Requests can be made through legal representatives with proper authorization

  • Some rights may be restricted under applicable laws

  • The Company verifies the identity of the requester before processing requests
